I dont think theyre on line but theyre very good about answering questions if you call. Great place for breakfast
Was Ok, I asked specifically for everything to be well done, when none of it was, the waitress knew something went wrong, said it was because they have a small grill, not sure why, I have had better.
What a awesome lil breakfast place. A must visit if in the area. Great food and friendly staff
The staff seemed to be in a rush for us to order. The food was ok. Average prices.
Very busy but service was Great as usual food can out in reasonable time for how busy it was
The fish and chips really went downhill. Used to be battered and crispy. Now it looks and tastes like its from a box. The fries were slightly undercooked. The hot hamburger meal didn't come with veggies like it states in the menu. Also they use turkey gravy on a hot hamburger. No one offered to refill our drinks. The burger itself was very good and handmade.
Great breakfast spot. Went with two young kids. They had a great time and enjoyed there treat from the treasures trunk after their breakfast.
Very good prices and excellent breakfast food. Probably my favourite spot for breakfast in Hamilton. The bacon is crispy and the home fries are seasoned and taste so good! Breakfast is about $6/$7 and the coffee is good too!
Solid rates for breakfast and the serving staff is friendly. Not too special but it gets the job done.
Best breakfast in town. Homefries, special spices and onions, make for the perfect side to your bacon and eggs. The rye bread is worth the switch. Friendly service and 40+ years in business tells you something.
Found a great new breakfast place and light lunch fare...big portions, fair prices, great service
Awful service. Awful food. Rubber chicken in the salad and dirty cutlery. Also friend requested crispy bacon and got barely cooked bacon.I used frequent this place 6yrs ago, man quality and service has gone down but prices have went up!!!
Solid breakfast sausage. My poached eggs medium where beautiful. The sausage .
Friendly staff great food just wished it was more accessible for baby buggy's had a hard time getting my daughter in the door. When I went the first time the food was great second time I went and I asked for a well done steak and some of it was well done some of it was still red.
Best owners and servers ever. Friendly and sweet. They remember their customers and seem to genuinely seem to care about them. Food is always good and the service is great. I love this place.
This place is the best. I try to make it out every Sunday for breakfast. Fantastic staff and great friendly service.
Excellent Service great breakie food. For a great price..
Simple and with attentive staff.I enjoyed the basic breakfast and my girlfriend the benny. 🙂
The worst for take out. Honestly Steve's has gone way down hill the past few years... don't go here. It's nasty for there regular breakfast i ask for soft bacon and they give it to me raw. Ridiculous . And pancakes r hardly ever cooked properlly. Go to wimpys on main and Locke pics below r my takeout from steves... they put the toast in with my breakfast so it was completely soggy. And the second picture is actually a picture of bacon completely Raw
First off I gotta give the waitresses huge props, they're very friendly and have a great since of humor, food is great and priced well (Eggs Benedict is my personal fav)It's not a large place and is regularly busy, so not exactly a place for large groups, but for groups of 5 or below it's great.
I've only been here three times, but it has become a Sunday morning ritual. Friendly staff and great breakfast food!
Amazing breakfast!I was at work picking up a bite-fast efficient and friendly
The food is very basic considering the prices. You get the same quality at Jett cafe or John st Diner but with a more reasonable price tag.
Very friendly staff, good food
Really good breakfast. It's hard to find parking.
Wonderful eggs Benedict. Great staff. Near St Joseph hospital.
Friendly, good food, relaxed atmosphere.
Excellent selection of mediocre warm-ish food worth half the prices paid at best. The home fries are terrible, like baked, dry and lumpy mashed potatoes. The senior waitress is friendly, clumsy, forgetful, spits in your eyes when she talks, is prompt with coffee refills but not with refilling water. Our food arrived quickly to the table. My omelette tasted fair, though I paid $3.95 for a sprinkle of feta cheese. I expected more from dishes priced on a higher scale. Some menu items, like the Eggs Benedict plate, are listed under the category of foods served with home fries and toast. Don't be mistaken. This dish does not come with toast, but you can expect to pay for it. This is a great restaurant for some who need convenience and to feel full, but the overall experience was awkward for my partner and I who's standards aren't even remotely high.
Great bacon and best homefries around! Love the eggs Benny.
Went here this morning for a Sunday morning breakfast.....had scrambled eggs, whole wheat toast bacon, hash browns ( and they are the real hash browns) and a side order of sausage......was very good. Will be back. Our waitress was very friendly.
I eat here often. Always a good choice!
Wonderful atmosphere, amazing food at great prices. A must go place for everyone
Excellent food + superb service! I got the chef's special and the homefries were nice & crispy, the eggs done well, and everything else was cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back again.
Love the food and service. Been there a few times I visited friends in Hamilton
I absolutely love this place. I used to go there once a week almost for breakfast when I lived closer to that area. It is absolutely amazing!
Mmmmm delicious !!! Absolutely love this place 🤩🤩
The restaurant is clean and quiet. The service is excellent. The server was first rate and attentive. The two breakfast orders were placed and arrived in a few minutes and were hot.The food , coffee and toast were perfect. The bill and tip for two was reasonable. All in all a excellent experience for my first time.
Very cozy and nice place with great options for breakfast. Foods are home-made, drlicious and fresh. Service is fast and staff are fridndly.
Home Style! High Quality! Personal Service! My Breakfast was cooked to perfection! Quick and Friendly Service! Comfortable and positive atmosphere!
A simple diner serving all-day breakfast. Don't have too high expectation since it is the cheap and cheerful type. Overall decent food and non-pretentious atmosphere.
The breakfast is cooked exquisitely. Perfectly prepared eggs, crispy home fries, juicy sausage with a crispy skin and moist, crunchy toast with real butter. Comfy environment and friendly servers. Will return.
So lovely! Perfect for breakfast - love the eggs Benedict!
Decent dinner. They're a bit surly, but it fits the place.
Was a nice atmosphere staff warm and friendly food was delicious
By far my favourite breakfast place in the city.
Breakfast was good! But finding a place to park was not good. At all. You'll be lucky to find a place to park that you don't need to pay for. So that needs to be taken into account because it affects the overall cost of your breakfast. But as far as the quality, it was really great! It was delicious - even the price for our meals was very reasonable! 5*Unfortunately, for me, finding parking is way too difficult for a breakfast.
I love a good "greasy spoon" and Steve's is one of the best. Fast and friendly service, high quality food at excellent prices, and most importantly good coffee. Steve's is a must for a straight up, no fuss breakfast.
in the 10 plus years that I've being a patron of Steve's open kitchen the owner and Chef has never really warmed up to us but the staff are all fantastic hard-working lovely women and although the home fries are slightly undercooked there's a hot and fresh serving of community that cannot be compared to any other breakfast spot. Steve's open kitchen is easily considered the cheers of breakfast spots
Brilliant breakfast ,great staff, old school diner!
Went there for breakfast for the first time. Food was okay, a bit greasy. I received my bill, and while paying I was in conversation with my friend. So it was my fault for not noticing; however I was charged an extra $4 for to add cheddar to an omelette. I ordered I a cheddar omelet with ham, but was charged for a ham omelet with $4 cheddar. Before ordering pay attention to the fine print. It was totally not worth that extra $4.
Very clean and welcoming restaurant, after many years passing by I had the chance to enjoy an excellent breakfast at 1:00 in the afternoon, before it closed at 2:30 for the rest of the day.
